Grace's Weekly Round-up

Of course I should have done this post yesterday, but that fact of having friends with 3 kids visit from England I have had literally no time. And then of course now I sit here at home sick and missing school ( and missing softball practice- literally have 3 days of practice before our big opening game ). So here's to being sick and my weekly round- up.

Grace's Top 3 Weekly Round-up

1. Homeless read mean tweets about themselves:
We have all seen Jimmy Fallon's celebrities read mean tweets about themselves and we all laugh and think it's funny watching Justin Bieber or Katy Perry read tweets about themselves. This video won't make you laugh. It will make you cry. It's definately one of those eye openers and for me I evaluated my life and how I think of the homeless. Here's the link for the video - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/31/homeless-mean-tweets_n_6976920.html

2. World of Jenks
So recently i've been on spring break and we all know what happens when students go on break..... Netflix marathons or for me, Amazon Prime. I have no clue why, but i've been watching a lot of the MTV shows ( I don't even like MTV) and one specifically caught my eye. Over break I have watched every single episode of World of Jenks. For those of you who do not know what it's about...... The World of Jenks is this documentary series which follow Andrew Jenks as he lives with different people for an amount of time. He has lived with a rapper, NFL cheerleader, Poker player, highschool all-star football player, singer from VersaEmerge, and more. I really like this series because it shows both worlds of all kinds of different people... Again, this is another show that might make you think differently of people.

3. Guitar Search
I don't think i've ever mentioned that I play the guitar. I have played now for around 7 years and only own an acoustic guitar. I have a Martin and a Tanglewood guitar. After years of just playing acoustic I have finally grown tired and personally feel like an electric guitar is more my thing, especially for my music taste. I've been searching around for an overall good guitar that's not cheap but not expensive. My parents and I made a deal that I will buy the guitar and they will buy me the amp. The only problem that I have on buying the guitar, is all the ones I want are over a thousand dollars and i'm only at 500. So i'm nearly half there and in around 4 months I will have enough money but I HAVE NO PATIENCE. Anyways, here are the guitars i'm looking at......
